Sunbelt Forest Products Corporation History
Founded in 1982 by a forward-thinking team who saw the need for a high-production pressure treating facility in Central Florida, Sunbelt Forest Products has grown to become one of the largest and most diverse wood-preserving operations in the United States.
In 2015, we expanded our operation by acquiring three treating facilities in northern and central Alabama and north Florida.
We further grew in 2021 when we acquired four more treating locations and a manufacturing facility that expanded our footprint up the Eastern Seaboard.

In an industry that is constantly evolving and changing, Sunbelt Forest Products continues to be on the cutting edge of emerging wood-preserving techniques. We were the first facility in Florida to introduce treating with arsenic-free preservatives and the first in the state to start treating with water repellents and mold inhibitors.
We are one of the largest treaters of non-metal preservatives in the United States, using Ecolife®, a non-metallic preservative, and wood stabilizers offering weathering protection and other environmentally-friendly attributes. We were the first treatment facility in the nation to put this product into mass production.

Our Lumber Treatment Facilities and Capabilities
At peak production, we can treat in excess of 1.2 billion board feet and ship 65,000 outbound loads annually across 11 locations stretching from Florida to Massachusetts.
