Sunbelt Forest Products Corporation is one of the largest and most diverse wood-preserving operations in the United States. We provide pressure treating services for lumber, decking, fencing, and other wood products used in construction and agriculture. With a team of forward-thinking professionals, we saw the need for a high-production pressure treating facility in Central Florida over 40 years ago and have been growing ever since. Our mission is to provide our customers with the highest quality treated lumber and decking while maintaining an environmentally responsible approach to business. Our vision is to be the preferred provider of pressure treated lumber and decking throughout the Southeast United States.

1982
Sunbelt Forest Products is Founded in Bartow, Fl
Founded to serve the growing need for high-quality pressure treated lumber in the quickly-expanding Central Florida region.
1983
Sunbelt Becomes A Lowes Vendor
Sunbelt and Lowes have an incredibly fruitful, nearly 40-year partnership that saw Sunbelt named a strategic supplier and 2012 and Lowe’s 2020 Vendor Partner of the Year in its lumber division.
Early 1990’s
First in Florida to begin treating with ULTRAWOOD, a paraffin-based additive to the treating chemical to provide longevity to premium lumber and fencing products, resulting in the introduction of Tropical Decking and Tropical Fencing.
2005
Sunbelt Forest Products Successfully Introduces ECOLIFE®
ECOLIFE® is the first non-metallic wood preservative to be used in Florida.
Early 2000’s
Sunbelt Forest Products successfully introduces Borates into the Florida market.
Borates are an economical alternative pressure treating wood preservatives used in various interior applications in new construction.
2016
Sunbelt Grows More In Alabama
Sunbelt acquired pressure treated wood facility in Athens, Alabama, from Georgia-Pacific.
2021
Sunbelt Purchases Spartanburg Forest Products
With this purchase, Sunbelt acquired four more treating locations and a manufacturing facility that expanded our footprint up the entire Eastern Seaboard.
1983
Sunbelt Begins Manufacturing and Selling Fence Sections and Pickets
The expansion into manufacturing and fabrication diversified Sunbelt’s product offerings and opened the door to new markets.
1985
Sunbelt Launches Export Division
Became a major supplier of pressure treated lumber and related building materials into the Bahamas and Caribbean Basin.
2001
First To Bring ACQ To Florida
Sunbelt Forest Products becomes the first treater in Florida to treat wood with non-arsenic ACQ.
2005
PalletOne Inc. Purchases Sunbelt Forest Products
Sunbelt joined forces with PalletOne Inc., a pallet manufacturer also founded and located in Bartow, Fl.
2015
Sunbelt Adds Two New Treating Facilities
Sunbelt expanded with the purchase of two pressure treated wood facilities in Rockledge, Florida, and Louisville, Alabama, from Southeast Wood Treating.
2020
Sunbelt Joins UFP Industries
UFP Industries purchased PalletOne Inc. and Sunbelt Forest Products.
